I was in a good mood until....


This guest walked up to me and asked about the TPC sign that said ribs were $1.59, when instead, it should have been $1.59 per POUND! And if she could get them at that price per rib since the sign didn't specifically state that.

Yes, you can get it at that price since our sign is deceiving...

We had to sell some of them to the horrible guest that I despise. I wanted to say, "Fine lady. BTW, your apples will be 2.99 each today."
 
It says lb right there on the right. Just because they cannot read does not mean we have to accommodate their stupidity.

course it does we need to be all inclusive and let the guest have their way with us next thing you know we have personal shoppers for guests while they chill in a nice comfy lounge area cause their minds haven't evolved enough to read a damn sign

With flexible fullfillment (especially this week), haven't we already become their personal shoppers? Plus, not sure if you saw the chatbox, but apparently adding dry grocery to FF is coming down the pipeline. Guest service and backroom is going to have a field day with that.
 
I wouldn't have given it to them. That sign clearly says "LB", and unless your sign was defective I would have told them that...

I mean if they were clearly upset and not capable of STFU then I might give it to them in the name of vibe, but I wouldn't let them get away with it easily. And yes like others said, I would just justify it in the name of the vibe and not give two fucks what the STL thinks.

I see this and instantly hear, "Ryan" In market you have 5 more FF Turkeys in the Gun, are u finished with the 11 others?? There are also 4 Stuffings and 3 "Tatoes" I can see myself doing whole Turkey dinners FFS, no Acro-Pun intended.

I would simply tell them it says LB on it, and while they pause look at them like I know what they are trying to do, and if that is not working vibe with them while looking at them like they are retarded, while simultaneously showing them the flipping weighed sticker on the actual package.

You can say just as much with your eyes, as your mouth, and are WAY more likely not to get fired for it.

I'd also offer to reweigh it for them with 10/c off a pound, just to give them something they can't really get pissed off about.
