Hi I'm a new team member just out of my 90 days. I've been assigned a mandatory flex up for tomorrow. I've put in to flex down in case I'm not needed and was given the hotline to call tonight but am having trouble understanding if I have been approved to flex down or not.

Warehousing - pre approved flex up - scheduled up group a(me) - schedule day off approved.

Now am I considered scheduled day off ? I put in my with my GL so I was on the list. I'm just confused on the verbage.

Thanks guys.

Wow, some buildings are doing mandatories already? Our call-in line doesn't have a thing for 'scheduled day off', so I'm not entirely sure what that is. At least where I'm at, the mandatory day would supersede your flex down. What I would do, is first call your GL or the GL on duty to get clarification, and then it turns out you do need to come in for a mandatory, talk to the GL at start of shift if they still need the bodies. You might luck out and still be able to get out.

Hi. This is the first week of mandatories I think but it seems they may have jumped the gun. I called in and "Scheduled Day Off Approved" means since I had put in earlier that I can flex down.

Thanks anyway guys.

New to the site but it almost seems crazy to me to see mandatory flex up. I have been in "the largest building in the company", a miniload building, and we havent seen mandatory flex up in 2 years. My understanding was the whole point of the temp strategy was to provide a flex point to avoid mandatory flex up/down.
