I just hit 20 years last month and got about $300. It's dependent on your pay rate and average hours I think, and it was on a regular check. Also they recently did service awards ($100), and that was on a separate check.

Your realistic options are a 2nd job, a cheaper place, or a roommate (I'm excluding illegal activities of course). You could try selling some things on Facebook, Nextdoor or Ebay to help temporarily. Your HR at Target might have some ideas (and maybe even some cash) for you. Tech jobs pay more...

Interesting. I have impaired sense of smell. Is this (Target scent) a thing? I forget things have a smell sometimes.

There was a survey about the Chain of Custody process a month or so back. I wrote in the comment section requesting this exact thing (and a couple other things, like expanding the report for past due license plates). Sooo happy it's being implemented. I'll have to look tomorrow

They did 20 years ago when I started at Target. Can't say for sure if it's normal now or not, but I imagine we have plenty of applicants and turning away the few who wouldn't want, or wouldn't pass one, would not hurt our hiring.

It's a BEWARE OF DOG sign. But there's no dog. Probably just a scare tactic. They WILL write up people who have often been calling out, or NCNS, and say its because of the "new policy" but it was going to happen anyway.
