"welcome to Target. Relax and enjoy the summertime vibes."

I remember at my old store the air conditioner for the upstairs ac would stop working, forcing the etls to walk the floor.

New target opening up in SoCal preview

Just happened to run across this message. Too bad not all of the Targets in the San Fernando Valley have the drive up canopy. There are some drive ups that are in parking garages. But there are some that are outside in the weather elements which is a problem when it rains or on blistery hot days...

Tear up the store I guess

I haven't seen that at one store but I have at a store that's attached to a mall. Interesting, though, I have seen it a couple of times at a grocery store. Also, curbside pickup at restaurants seem to be used by people who eat inside of the restaurant. I've seen it at Blaze (inside of a mall)...

Tear up the store I guess

I have to admit I do that but only because I ordered Drive Up but I forgot something so I have to go into the store to get it. So, I get the item and then request my drive up order.

    Goodbye Target!

10-12 people for recovery in hardlines. I remember that. Three to four people were usually found in softlines. When I left it was down to one or two. It was taking a toll on long time recovery team members, too. I remember one guy who had HBA a long time was given other areas to handle. He...

Question about the ad not showing up when you scan?

Kind of off topic but do you still use the paper ad when you set up the ad?

Are the self-checkouts at your store "ten items or less." now?

Only to find they're doing it, too.

A Target in my city has a supermarket next to it

I know of a Target that's on one side of a shopping center with Ralphs (Kroger), Sprouts, Walmart all close together on the other side, with an Aldi across the street and they all sell produce and meat. Oh, also in that same shopping center, there's a Trader Joe's.

Best "I Told You So" Moment

At a store BBQ, a team lead was in charge of grilling the hot dogs. His technique in grilling is they're done when they change color. The problem with this is the hot dogs needed more cooking time. I took one bite of one of the hot dogs and said they're still cold. The team members there said...

What is the difference between AP and TSS?

I thought they were in charge in checking the tills because I saw one TPS/TSS person opening and closing the drawers. He was fired for stealing the money.

Target in the 90s? I don't think so.

So you're telling me my Target didn't get these registers until at least 10 years later?

Target in the 90s? I don't think so.

To be clear: I meant the photos aren't from the 90s because many things shown didn't come in until the 2000s, such as the cash registers that are shown in the photos.

I also remember the lifescapes from the 2000s.

Target in the 90s? I don't think so.

Another giveaway is the pink TV. I don't think Target had those in the 90s but did have them in the 2000s. Also, take a look at the graphics for the newscast. Definitely 21st century.
