Worth trying to promote to ETL?

Our GM ETL was promoted last fall from SETL to GM ETL. He stayed in our store because we were short one ETL. His last day was yesterday. ASANTS but in our store, he had GM, Inbound, Fullfillment. He had been working 70 - 80 hours a week since October & finally had enough.

Best way to move up the ladder?

Our district is the opposite. In over a decade at my store, I have seen one TL promoted to ETL & maybe 6 or 7 team members promoted to TL.

Best way to move up the ladder?

That $26.00 an hour dwindles when you are working 14 - 18 hour days, five days a week. Our newest ETL is in the building around 3:00 am & doesn't leave most days until 7 or 8 pm. Not much of a work/life balance.

How to go from TM to TL

I have been in my store for over a decade. In that time frame I have seen 5 or 6 team members actually be promoted to team leader. I have seen one team leader be promoted to ETL. If you are over 25, I doubt any promotion will happen. Target wants young, fresh out of college people.
