What is your store ticketed/salvage unit accuracy %?

Wouldn't be at all surprised if it's higher at my store than it was during DBO days. I'm all the time finding unticketed clearance and salvage that's at $0.00 but still hanging around in my area. Didn't happen when I was doing my own PC and salvage. Occasionally also find located salvage in the...

Don't know the answer to this, but I had something goofy that might be related. When I went to set a couple of end caps recently that were due the week of 6/29, my zebra said I had two that were overdue. It was past the 29th, but they were due that week so they weren't overdue yet. Thinking...

    New Rollouts for 2025?

First time doing a revision since this discussion started. Did the L'Oreal one today and it wasn't with this new format talked about here, but the batch I pulled has me curious. The POG for some products showed that 8 would fit when only 4 would, just as one example. There were plenty of others...

    Target’s Vision

Which is why I said without them, I'd be doomed. At least some of my area is zoned. And they work pretty well for most of the things they're used for. But not all of my area has self-pushers, hence the problem.

    Target’s Vision

Here's my question: if zoning is supposed to be a priority now, just when are we supposed to do it? I used to get compliments on my area all the time, but haven't a long while because it hasn't been deserved. It's pretty much always a wreck. If it wasn't for self-pushers, I'd be doomed. Give me...

    Corporate Does Target truly care?

The exodus has begun at my store. For the first time in my 10+ years there, we have an awful SD. TMs have been putting up with an HR ETL no one much cares for and getting short hours. But all three of those not-great things together and some TMs have decided enough is enough. Lost one of our...

Yep. No zoning by closers (well, hardly ever) plus pretty often, they leave the last pulls for me to push. Feel like I'm starting in a hole, especially if I have a large truck.

    Target’s Vision

Was just talking with my TL about this. She was expressing frustration about the latest batch of contradictory communications. First, we're supposed to do things a certain way so it's consistent chain-wide. Oh wait, stores need to do what works best for their lay-out. Oh wait again, we're...

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

If someone zones my area - closer maybe, I don't know - they bring one forward and call it good. Looks stupid, doesn't really help much. I'm not asking that they super-zone, but bring two or three forward so it lasts a little while.

Yes, late on Saturday, although a few are always missed. Sometimes, a lot are missed. I set ad on Sundays and most weeks, almost all the old signs are taken down before we start putting up the new ones. Confession: there are times when I find an old sign in my own area and it might have been...

    Target walkie talkies

I've worn my walkie home a couple of times, took it back when I went for my next shift. One time, I was walking to my car in the parking lot when someone started talking on it - was able to hand it off to another TM arriving for their shift. Another time, when I was riding my bike to work most...

Not sure if the paper POGs were wrong or if the TMs using them read them wrong. Last time Personal Care went through a transition, both Men's and Women's Shave pegs were set wrong. For instance, the Good Fellow razor refills were put at the far right of the section while the razors were put at...

    Remembering Commiecorvus - Our Friend

This is sad news indeed. Never met in person, but I still counted him as a friend on this site. He will be much missed.

    Does Target hire Senior Citizens?

Going by this thread, I'd say this issue is very much ASANTS. I'm officially a senior citizen and I think the oldest TM at my store although there are several who are close to my age. Before covid, there were quite a few more. (They didn't die, but took advantage of the leave offered and most...

    New Rollouts for 2025?

When do any of us have a lot of time to do anything?

Is your Target store cracking down on minors?

Any age, as long as they don't cause trouble. And most don't. I am dreading the summer months a little though - kids being on summer break mean more shaving cream messes.

Is your Target store cracking down on minors?

I'm not sure 16- and 17-year-olds are all that responsible. I was at that age, but then I was hyper-responsible practically from birth. My big gripe is against whoever's playing with shaving cream. They do other things, but that's the worst of what I have to clean up.

Is your Target store cracking down on minors?

Never have understood this. Why else would it come in clear glass bottles? Back when we had TMs work just in cosmetics to keep it to brand (it was only about 4 hours a week), I'd try to use nail polish remover to clean up those stupid dabs. It sort of worked on the plastic, although the acetone...

Why are your price labels showing the figures in the yellow boxes? Our price labels are just the white part. Or the yellow part on some of them - whichever is the lower, actual selling price.

Is your Target store cracking down on minors?

We lock up our Stanley cups - a mini spider wrap on the cup handle and then they're attached to the shelf with one of those cable locks requiring a magnetic key. And wow, those teenage boys. I see a lot shaving cream sprayed around, especially during holiday breaks and during the summer, but...
