    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

With the old way, Team Member A would hit All Items Scanned and no one would know that all these items got deleted from the location. Then Team Member B would come into that location and an error would be created with their name attached to it. With this new reporting, we will see every time TM...

    Team Voice Survey

I've had the opposite experience. Things were way worse 10-12 years ago for me. Although we did have more huddles back then I guess.

    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

It used to be about that for backroom metrics because the person who found the error would get the blame, but not anymore. With these new metrics, it's about correcting behaviors of people who make a lot of mistakes.

No. Think of it like a way to figure out who kept hitting All Items Scanned.

    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

I took a look at the Backroom Accuracy dashboard today. It looks great. It shows you tons and tons of info about what TMs are doing that could potentially lead to errors. They're calling these behaviors "TM Patterns", meaning they're patterns that can lead to errors. There are a handful of them...

I really want to know how that works. A lot of errors are because someone literally just places an item in a location without scanning it or they take an item without scanning it.

Are other Targets cost-cutting right now?

I've been with Target for 14 years and I've noticed this exact issue for about 14 years now. It's just business as usual. Cut a little more each year to improve short term profits.

Full bonuses for salaried this year...

I think we all would have the same effective date for the new pay. The first time you see it on a check might vary based on the pay cycle. My store will see it on their 4/26 paycheck, but some stores will see it on 4/19.

Full bonuses for salaried this year...

It started on Friday. I already delivered them to 5 of my 11 baristas. It probably has to be done by 4/6 because the raise goes into effect on 4/7.

Full bonuses for salaried this year...

I gave out two reviews to TMs today (PG35). One got the top score and got 4.5%, which is higher than last year. The other got the middle score and got 2.5%, which is also higher than last year. (Note that if you worked less than the full fiscal year, you'll get a prorated raise.)

    We get raises though.

    Greenfield questions

I'm not sure if it helps, but I just used that dataset to make a card recently and used a calculated field called "hours_pulling" and the total looks like it's adding up correctly.

Resources for Humans (An HR Thread)

Yes, HRTLs and Small Format TLs both have access to that. Although neither has access to approving punches, time off requests, or paid vacation requests; the SD is the only person in the store with access to those, so we had to bug him while he was out of the country on vacation recently lol.

    Please fix MyHelp Chatbot

You should tell Target about that, not us. But you can type “cancel” and sometimes it lets you go back one question, start over, or cancel the chat. Sometimes it doesn’t though, but you might be able to go one question further through the prompts and then try typing cancel again.

    Timeclock oddities

It's not showing up as 8 hours on there. The first day (listed as 8.08 hours) has a missing punch. Once that gets corrected, your half hour lunch will be subtracted, putting you at about 7.58 hours. The second picture is 7.63 hours, so that's fine. I guess I don't understand your question.

    Bonuses

It’s a performance based bonus that’s given at the same time as the performance based review. I’d say they’re related.

Weekly Action Update things to know

As others have said, the new policy won’t affect people who already get sick hours based on local laws. This policy only affects the people who don’t work in an area that mandates sick hours. You’ll keep the same policies that you have because they’re likely better than what Target is offering...

    Drastic hours Cuts?

At my first store, that happened nearly every month. The store overscheduled for the first two weeks of every month and then suddenly we had to start cutting hours to make payroll at the end. They did this every month and didn't learn. It went on for years. At my current store, we typically...

    2023 New pilots?

Let’s not derail this thread too much with payroll/salary discussions. I think everyone knows how it all works and the argument is just over semantics.
