    Confused on termination?!

I'm really sorry about your experience working at Starbucks and how overwhelmed you were. Since I don't work at Target anymore and I have no interest in visiting my old store, I'm not really sure what the Stanley Cup is. However, if an item wasn't on the sales-floor for more than 15 minutes so...

Finally it’s over after 22 years!

I totally wish I did that! I couldn't stand the leadership at my old store!

    I QUIT, I FINALLY QUIT

The final part of what you mentioned really stands out. At my store, it seemed like all the good team members left, leaving a bad atmosphere of negativity that I couldn't wait to get away from. You're right, everyone is replaceable but it seemed like I was one of the few good workers left...

I'm not totally out the door yet.

Good luck and I hope your new job works out and it's probably going to be better than Target!

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

Thanks, I do have to admit that I'll miss the US since that's what happened while I was living in Japan previously. It's just that I feel like I need a fresh start and I'm hoping that things work out better in Japan.

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

Thanks, hopefully I'll be able to find a web-developer job, but I still have to study and try to develop my own practice projects. I'm also planning to take the JLPT, which is a language proficiency test that might make me more marketable as a jobseeker in Japan.

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

Thanks, I will call them and ask them to disable my accounts.

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

I don't need the website accounts anymore and I was just wondering if they get deactivated or what happens to the accounts after you withdraw your balance. I'm moving to Japan.

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

No, I didn't move the 401K to an IRA or another retirement account. I know that I already paid a tax penalty but I really thought that I should just withdraw the money since I will be living overseas for the time-being. I think I get what you're saying in that I can continue to maintain a...

What do you do with accounts related to Target once you leave?

Target was my first job and I have already put in my two weeks a few months ago. I'm preparing to leave the country and I doubt that I'll ever work there again so I was just wondering what I should do with my account information for Target Benefits and my Paperless Employee account. I already...

    Let go for... no reason?

Yes, I did receive a form with instructions for filing for unemployment and I already did file. It makes sense that Target wants to allocate those hours for training or other team members.

    Let go for... no reason?

Sorry to bump an old thread but the same thing happened to me with regards to the third person. I actually put in my two-weeks notice but HR decided to terminate me before the two weeks were up. The ETL-HR and ETL-SE were both in the room with me when I was let go and I did feel uncomfortable...

Have any team members reduced availability before moving onto another full-time job?

I'm sorry, can you explain further about on demand team members? I tried looking it up in this forum and I couldn't find any posts about it.

Have any team members reduced availability before moving onto another full-time job?

I was just thinking about something another team member told me before she quit recently. We were talking about our future job prospects and she suggested that if I am planning to quit Target for another job to reduce my availability to weekends only if I was nervous about the new job not...

    Archived Quitting Due to Modernization

Yup, the hours at my store have dropped to a ridiculous amount, to the point that there was no cashier scheduled from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM this morning, and that has happened at least a few times in the past few months. There is no way that this used to be the way the schedule was written before...

    Archived Quitting Due to Modernization

I agree, I'm probably not quitting until I am 100% sure that I have another job lined up that I am confident in long-term. I'm just so lost with the job-hunting process that I do think it is safer for now to suck it up and stay at Spot, as much as it's starting to wear on me. Another concern I...

Archived Gripes with how/why I was let go. Quick vent.

Like others have said, all I can say is that I support your efforts in finding a new job and hope that your interview for the next job works out. I can't believe that you had a line that long and no one came to back you up, and the way that TL scolded you in front of guests was unacceptable and...
