well here is a little update: I am still with Wegmans but I am now a seafood manager. :) I love it and my old Boss's son is one of my workers.

Make sure you take pictures of your current schedules. After you know you have the job than get a voluntary term form. You can choose to tell them why on the form if you wish. Make sure you also tell the person who makes the schedule to not put you on the schedule anymore.

I have a strong feeling Spot is going the way of Kmart. As the decades go by Spot will get more and more worse until it goes out of business.

like everyone says, ask for a resignation form. It might also be a nice touch (but is NOT required) to have a resignation letter to give to HR when you hand in the form.

Exactly! Target, Walmart, and Kmart are the bottom of the latter! I will not be sad at all when these places go out of business!

You need to get an official form of resignation from HR. It should be in TSC, the HRtm will give it to you when you ask for it. When I resigned I left in the middle of the pay period and I spoke with the HRtm and told him to not put me on the next schedule when I handed in my paperwork. Good luck

Yea it sucks. Even when I go back to pick anything up one of the GSTLs just kind of ignores me or the ETLs glare at me, but hey they cant kick me out if I am doing NOTHING wrong. During my last week I had the biggest smile on my face and I am sure I looked like I was higher than a kite!

oh yea! My last week was absolute HELL! the ETLs basically ignored me. They let me in Cash office... did the safe and left. They would not say even two words to me.

yea that sounds right and I bet it is different for different stores depending on their management or lack there of. I think at my former store it is 50% and the people who end up staying for the long haul are absolutely miserable! :(
