My S&E TL's pick batches all the time even, which I find weird. We have front end TM's that know fulfillment, but they'll leave those TM's up front and pull their TL's rather than pull the TM's.

Bleh, I can get that they want to minimize the amount of items being INF'ed, but I would just absolutely despise working under this level of micromanagement. It'd genuinely make me switch workcenters or just quit outright.

We barely even have TC58's. All the TL's and ETL's have their own TC58, and we have 9 for TM's (specifically food and guest service).

I haven't seen a sign out option for months, seems to auto-sign you in when you sign into MyDay. Pretty sure the sign out option was removed when they updated it earlier this year.

Training is usually more in-depth than this. That said, a TL is usually not the person who trains new cashiers. At my store the typical process is you would watch someone else cashier for a hour or two, and they'd explain things as they went along, and you'd ask any questions you had. Then...

Yeah....this is also too far IMO. Wanting a new seasonal to contact a leader before INF'ing is fine. But as someone whose worked at my store for 8 years and knows how to find items just as well as the leads do, I'm not bugging them with trivialities like that. The only recent time I did check...

And any TL worth their salt would put you on a CA for INF'ing 20 waters just because you didn't want to lift them. As for the guest, I doubt it's anything to worry over. If the guest was pissed off and going to call the store they'd have almost certainly have said something to you when it happened.

Target isn't one of them though. I know this from experience. I was arrested for a DUI, while working at Target. I missed half the week of Black Friday as a result, while a seasonal employee. I was still kept. That said, that was my second time working at the store, I imagine if it was my first...

I think some people take this to an extreme. I texted my ETL once, and she refused to respond till she saw me in person, at which point she told me she'd seen my text, but that if she'd responded, and I read her response, that would equate to me working off the clock.

We almost never get rid of seasonal cashiers at my store unless they are completely horrible - and even then, we usually keep them. Seasonal Fulfillment though is a whole other story.

This shouldn't be a problem at all. People go into the TSC to request time off/use vacation pay/etc. all the time when off the clock.

All In Motion clothes are included in this. I buy them as work shirts quite often as a result of this. 100 * .9 * .95 * .8 = 68.4, = 31.6% off on All In Motion clothing.

TM's used to be able to make announcements, because anyone could actually log in as "Leader". They changed it recently so that only actual TL's can do so now though - I doubt they're going to revert it.

You also have to average 24.5 hours a week to be paid for the Holiday.

To the best of my understanding the only TL's with access to modify the schedule are Closing TL's.

Yeah, I used to be able to do it, because anyone could sign in as a leader, but the update a while back ruined that. :(
