FY 2023 Annual Pay and Performance - Team Members (PG35/38)

To save money of course. Long-term employees probably aren't going anywhere regardless of what raises they get or don't get. Trust me I'm one of them. I'm not staying here because I love Target so much. I've severely risk averse. This job is "safe" to me so I'll stay, until something/someone...

    $1.00 extra from 10/22/2023 to 01/06/2024

Cheer is from whoever is finally seeing profits from their retail business after a slow year. Owners and upper management, people who get bonuses based off profit.

    $1.00 extra from 10/22/2023 to 01/06/2024

Idk if they're "seasonal" but I see a lot of new TM's around lately

Store closing at 10 but TMs working until 11

Yeah I don't know if that happens here but I do know during the day lately they are strict about everyone leaving on time because they're so far over allocated hours. It was absolutely normal in the past when I worked closing

Time off request now through Mytime

Mytime Self Service time off requests have been moved to mytime. I don't see anywhere to put in a time off request that is not a "paid time off" request. How do I request a whole day off but not have 24 hours requested from my vacation time, which I do not have 24 hours of? Also I don't see...

Merit Raises & Reviews: 2023 Edition

They worked for 3 months and got a raise? 2 cents is better than the 0 cents I would expect them to get after only 3 months. $17.50 is not bad. I've worked at Target for 18 years and I make not much more than that

Merit Raises & Reviews: 2023 Edition

4%. $0.69 raise. Been at Target 17 years. Now making $17.94/hr + vacation, healthcare, company match 401k (had to cut my contribution to 0 this year :( bc bills ). Approx 22hrs/wk

    Working 2 jobs

Learning about a new process at your other job... "Oh I see, that seems inefficient. We do it this way at Target and it works better". That's a conflict of interest

    Working 2 jobs

Do eBay on the side. Hourly pay is for suckers
  11. Ringwraith917

    Ugh

Yes that sucks. Have you asked your leadership if there are any hours you could pick up? Are you checking the board or kronos(or whatever it is now) for swap shifts?

At my store associates in all departments, make $15 regardless of length of employment.

I think whoever said people wont get % increases based on performance was wrong

    HELPPP

Yeah preferences only come into play if there are enough people available. Otherwise they will schedule whoever they have to fill the time slot, and you indicated that you could work those times. Your paycheck reflects the hours you worked the previous 2 weeks, not the current week. This week's...

    Payroll tax deferral

Yes this is true, but can you resist the temptation to dip into that money for something that comes along between now and then? A lot of people can't.

    Payroll tax deferral

When you file taxes next year you should get that $ back, which should help offset the additional amount being withheld from your paycheck.
  16. Ringwraith917

    Payroll tax deferral

If Target participates, you can choose to withhold an additional fixed amount from each paycheck. Estimate 6.5% of your normal paycheck and go into your benefits on eHr and add an additional withholding for that amount
  17. Ringwraith917

    Payroll Tax Deferment

Whatever Target decides we will have to go with. A lot of people are saying it will be forgiven if it isn't paid (which would require another exec action or bill to be passed). As it is, it would still come due at the end of deferment. If you notice your "employee taxes withheld" portion of your...

    $200 bonus

The paycheck on the 31st, is what we were told. Or the one after the 31st I assume for those on opposite pay schedules.

What percentage raise did you receive this year?

DIO 2.7%. It's fine. I might not bust my ass so hard this year though. Keeps me above "the bump" which is nice
  20. Ringwraith917

What percentage raise did you receive this year?

If 5% would put me over 15, it still matters (it would)
