    from my experience, be a tl and use experience as reason. there's no "you're better than the rest" pay raise. annually, you'll get a decent raise, that's insanse considering its an annual. cashiers at my store get 7 cents. they just get marked down for whatever to justify it.

    i didn't want to bring it up with hr since she kept saying she's waiting to hear back from her boss. but i was above the raise, and i'm sure i'm making less than some new hires for lower pay grades. do you get to keep any of the raises?
