Specialty Sales to take over home and seasonal

This might be true where you are, but our whole group is going back to the old school mindset, think 'speed is life'. Unload times are expected to be under 1 1/2 hours regardless of truck size, push complete before 11 at the latest, even 141s are going away to be replaced by a priority fill...

Specialty Sales to take over home and seasonal

It includes everything that falls under the 'home' category in other reports: Stationary Housewares Bath Bedding Domestics Dec Home Plastics/Storage And for some reason Bullseye's Playground

Specialty Sales to take over home and seasonal

If you don't have a Plano team then the responsibility will just shift over to specialty. Any DBOs in these areas will also be recorded as style consultants. That goes for anyone that pushes in B, C and D. How many gm TLs do you have? In stores with at least 3, 1 of them would change to a sstl.

Specialty Sales to take over home and seasonal

Actually, specialty will take on everything except transition workload (revisions, SPLs and pricing immediately, then payroll for 141s will be allocated to SS in a couple months). Transition workload still falls into the gm bucket for the Plano team to complete. We have a fairly new ssetl as...

    Overtime?

Sounds like your OM isn't explaining OT very well, which could be a big problem for team members with your situation. At my DC everyone was assigned to a 'group' (ie. group A, group B, group C, etc.). There were about 7-10 team members in each group, and OT days would alternate each week. OT for...

    Overtime?

Ummm.. Congrats that you're doing well, but that's pretty much how it's done. It was explained to me during my orientation and went over during startup quite a few times when there were mass new hires. There can be OT an anytime, that's why you're assigned to a group to know what your possible...

    Target Health Plan

He can drop himself the same way since he will be gaining insurance from you. It's a 'life event' that wasn't available at the time of enrolling his insurance.

    Target Health Plan

Do you think you can go a month without insurance? I did this while switching jobs. Unexpected things can always happen so it's a risk you'll have to weigh to see if it's for you. If not, then go ahead and continue with your husband's insurance, then you can enroll both of yall in January...

Bonuses for Maiming or Killing Store Inbound/Flow TMs?

Yes, I am talking about unloading at a store level.. I was the main unloader for a couple years before fixing/running my own teams at multiple stores, at different times of course. Just like 60SecondsRemaining said, the unload isn't complicated. When you're team actually works together they...

Bonuses for Maiming or Killing Store Inbound/Flow TMs?

^^This! Years ago, when the metrics were about how fast you could unload, I could easily throw a 2k truck by myself in just over an hour. But even when the new unloads began with smaller teams, we were still able to finish in about 2 hours. It took practice for us to slow down as much as they...

    Hiring standards stricter now?

Overtime in the store is never mandatory and is rarely offered. In the DC though, yes, it is very frequent and talked about during orientation.

    401k loans + repayment

Don't know what you read, but that's just not true. I previously took out a loan and I left target last November before I paid it back in full. I still owed about $6k. My remaining balance was over $40k and I ended up taking a payout for the remainder of my balance, after taking out taxes and...

COVID-19 Any other dc getting overtime because of coronavirus

Yes, it's coming in one trailer then being sorted and sent to the different stores that dc services. If it isn't flow then it's 'reserve', which is just our version of backstock. ISM for us is usually considered flow as 99% of the time we send it straight out and don't hold on to it..
