    To that one guest

This BITCH got mad at me today because I did not know which vacuum cleaner is the best! Target does NOT teach product knowledge on anything.

    Archived CASH OFFICE

At my store cashiers, guest services, sales floor softlines/hardlines are all the same pay grade. Electronics has the same pay as GSA (.50 more). Food avenue and Starbucks have higher pay. As well as backroom, flow team and pricing and presentation. o_O

    Archived CASH OFFICE

As a current HL team member & former GSA, NOT currently receiving GSA pay I was the better choice to train for CO. But I am being denied a pay increase. Is there anywhere online to view the pay incentives for each in-store position? Something similar to http://targetguidelines.blogspot.com/...

Archived Being Scheduled Outside of Pay Grade?

GSA is a pseudo promotion. "Acting Team Leader" is what the title should be. GSA's are expected to do all the work and have the same expectations as the GSTL's for not even close to the same pay. Team members know that GSA's can not have performance discussions, corrective actions, and have no...

Archived GSA not being supported by Sr.GSTL

1.) They probably have not told you that the GSTL's split up the team. Therefore is sounds like YOU are NOT on the team of the Sr. GSTL. And so they are not concerned with your performance since they do not do your review. ....Anyways, ALL leaders should be giving support to the GSA. Your...

YEP! In my store. The FASTEST way to becoming a Team Leader is to snitch on others. That is the fastest way to be promoted.

Archived How to have a productive closing?

I am MY stores Red Card record holder. ENGAGEMENT, ENGAGEMENT, ENGAGEMENT is so important. Instead of trying to "sell" red cards. Try saying "Are you getting your 5% off today"? If they say "NO" or "how do I get that"? Tell them if they pay with a check they can get 5% off. They will 99% of...

Archived Are some team lead positions easier than others?

Although I am fairly new to the company. From what I can tell, my HR ETL (25 years w/Target) has the choice of having a HR TL or not. I don't think she likes doing the schedule which is why she ops for having a HR TL.

Archived Are some team lead positions easier than others?

HR TL not only has the easiest, less stressful TL position. But some might say the most powerful. Know one wants to piss off HR!:give_rose:

    Archived Target Cross Training POLICY!....???

That's part of MY feeling. Food Avenue & Starbucks each have TL and TM's. Neither of which is in MY Core Roles or Specific Roles. I'd rather prefer having nothing to do with them at all!! Of course the other part is just me being vain.....NOT wanting to wear a hairnet or smell like...

Ughh! Thanks for answering, sounds like I need to move to a different work center. Of course the next problem will be convincing my current ETL to allow me to go to a different work center.:girl_sigh:

To that one Team Member I - ARCHIVED

Dear ALL Sales Floor Team Members, Guest Services is NOT your personal trash can or laundry basket. Therefore TRY to remember to say what you are dropping off that cart or basket for. And "NO" I will NOT defect that item for you just because you are to lazy to fold it back up! And please...
