I never understood this either. If I ever leave my awesome store, I'll just forever close this browser tab and be done.
To stay on topic, TM's at our store are reporting larger percentage raises for the same ratings they got before.
It's really as simple as sitting at the front door with a grid and marking people off as they exit the store (assuming it's not a full overnight process) to make sure everyone is out. (not the kid of course)
We use the montels for fulfillment/drive up stowing. Works great for that purpose.
I helped a store get caught up in their trailers that had them for backstocking. Utter disaster.

Yes, that's generally how it works. I do what my job requires and go out of the way to do more if needed & get a maximum raise every year.
Would a TL taking on extra work and excelling get a better raise than someone mad that they had extra work? Probably...
If they're expected to take on more work load that requires hours to support it (depends on what it is), then they should get the added hours to support. If not, upper management shouldn't be surprised if/when it fails.
Eh, my department is taking on more responsibility because other departments can't find good people to do what they need. We're not getting more TL's to oversee the new responsibilities. (We are getting hours to staff the new responsibilities from those departments)

We're still taking 2-3 trucks every single day for normal operations (We were taking 2-5 a night during Q4, 2 only if callouts warranted it). Only time we get singles is when we have a visit to make nice.
