If the case pack is one item, I've been putting the CRC sticker next to the UPC barcode on the outside of the case pack. If the case is multiple items, I access the UPC barcode for each item and put the CRC sticker next to it, not fully detrashing.

Yes it gets scanned again at the sortation center, and if it doesn't have the sticker near the UPC then your store doesn't get credit for that item. Then eventually the CRC removal of that missed item auto-voids, and it gets put back into your store inventory. Then when annual inventory day...
