INF in general is a focus company wide this year. Your store may be seeing large $ losses in those areas, or particularly high percentages. One store I was at years ago required approval from a leader in that area before INFing. My most recent store doesn't. When I was F&B TL, I generally needed...

    Spring Sales Meeting

Got some passionate people over here in the scheduling world don't we haha I'm inclined to think it's generic 'workforce management' in the general sense, not the proper name workforce.com sense At this point, I don't think Target is going to swap out one vendor product for another when they've...

I'm the one who made them last year. I didn't this year because I've mostly stepped away from Target at this point.

    W2 confusion

Was the $88 what was deposited or your gross amount? Your W2 will include income after insurance comes out, but before taxes. Social security and medicare would be the $7-8 difference between 96 and 88

Is anyone else's store starting to worry them?

Minimum increase is $4 to TL, but obviously it varies a lot.

    Circle Card Applications

Not that I cashiered super often, so take this with a grain of salt, but my go to while scanning their items is just "will you be saving 5% today with your red circle card?" That being said, I think Target's application expectations have always been too high.

Want to know how bad things are?

Expired by any amount should be removed. Nothing on the floor should be past date. Closest is meat which you can sell day-of, but should be marked down. And personally, I didn't donate expired dairy. Composted everything.

    Makes too much to transfer?

I doubt a store is checking a TM's wage when making that decision. Also, at a store level, an individual TM's wage, while yes a cost in the labor P&L, doesn't affect the day-to-day. Definitely BS

    Viewing Priority Pull Percentages

Why would that matter to them? If enough gets pulled each day, that's enough. When is irrelevant. If corporate wanted that, they'd bring back the CAFs throughout the day. That being said, I don't think they have access to "live". But you can view per hour metrics on greenfield, so you could see...

    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

StoreReporting.BAI has us between 92 and 96% over the last 8 weeks, with the total average about 94%.

    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

No no no, should've been more clear. 98/99 is based on your card for legacy BRLA. We did have a drop June week 3, but it stayed above 98%. Not a TL anymore so I don't have access to BAI on greenfield but I can ask a peer where we are.

    Backroom Accuracy Indicator (BAI)

I'm the last person to say anything corporate does is a good thing, but I do think they had the right focus on this. Store leaders were focused on the wrong things, accuracy not being it. Literally the first thing our GM ETL was thinking about during the conference call when they rolled this out...

    Promoted to guest

So their requirement might still be every 4 weeks, but unless their HR fires them first, the system wasn't going to automatically until 6 months had passed, regardless of educational status.

Pay and benefits…..is this what I think it is?

Target doesn't "match" social security contributions. You pay half and your employer pays half. That's just how the program works. For every employer. That's why self-employed people pay more, because they pay the employee AND employer portion of the tax.

MEGATHREAD The On-Demand Team Member (ODTM) Thread

Yes you should be able to transfer assuming you're still in good standing. You shouldn't need to contact the new store yourself. Just follow up regularly with your own HR. Yes there's generally an acceptable limit percentage of OD TMs a store can have.

    Insta post. Check it out

Instagram user is from Utah. You sure the store is that far north? Maybe if they stopped announcing visits and saw the regular state of the stores they'd get it that the resources aren't there. But when everyone fakes it, no one is good enough.

    Destroy vs donate

The only thing corporate cares about is the override. If the disposition is automatically destroy, that isn't going to hurt your metrics.

    Destroy vs donate

Essentially, you shouldn't be overriding to toss for anything. Follow the prompts, but don't check the box. Would you eat it? (Y) Donate (N) Toss, or hopefully compost if your store has it
