I encourage empowerment. Also , I explain to the guest that they can swipe before the cashier is done scanning. BUT sometimes there are guests that hawk the POS screen and challenges every item scanned. suspend is your best friend.

You're lucky, I wasn't even trained. Due to our store just being built and registers weren't connected yet. They just let me look over a cashier hand book and called it a day. I've made alot of mistakes but it was worth it. :p:D
