MEGATHREAD End to End team PILOT

I know at my store the backroom is still backstocking pallets directly from the truck from end to end departments, because they still get those hours. Once the hours are allocated by the number of cases delivered per department, the backroom will lose even more, and end to end teams will take on...

End to end is much easier as you go up in volume. The bigger the store, the easier this process is.

A GSTL or ETL GE can do it for sure through the register. It takes like 20 seconds.

@Tyrant and then it just ends up coming out in a CAF or auto again anyway doesn't it? Just more extra work. People need to push to the peice.

    Archived Question for LOG/BR pros...

Usually the reason there are outs with backroom locations, is because someone was being lazy and flexed their overstock. So I pull down all the BS that doesn't belong and then scan the outs so backroom has to pull them. Then I explain to the logistics ETL how his teams are creating extra work...

    Archived Question for LOG/BR pros...

You have to scan one of the outs again and check for the last pull date. If it says it was pulled after you scanned the initial out, but the stuff never came out, there's a chance it was burned or it was a ghost. Then you have to check the detail reports and find out who pulled it and...

    Archived Question for LOG/BR pros...

I use this trick all the time to fill the floor. Change the on floor count while not in research mode, and then delete the batch. My stuff always ends up in the autofills/CAFs unless the batch is burned or there were a lot of ghost locations.

@greg yarms Target's not shutting down anytime soon buddy. Hence the newly opened stores every year. Failing companies close doors and don't open new ones. See: K-Mart.

It will be combined for sure. The new contract requires that the TL spend at least one 8 hour shift a week in starbucks. Even the busiest starbucks (like mine) can be managed from the outside. No need for a TL to spend their whole week there.

Archived Leadership in a 4am Store?

I'm guessing that currently you have 2 flow TLs, 2 backroom TLs, and probably separate Logistics and replenishment ETLs. That's all going to be condensed to one. 1 flow TL, 1 Backrrom, 1 LOG ETL. That's what happened at my store years ago

Food ave and starbucks can basically run themselves. We have one of the busiest food services in the company at my store and we all agree that they could get away without a TL.

If your store makes less than 29 mil a year. You get 1 TL to oversee food ave, starbucks, and grocery altogether.

Low volumes are condensing all three positions to one. High volumes are condensing food ave and starbucks, but keeping a separate food TL for TL the sales floor. Basically food ave is moving to the sales floor in high volume stores.

It's only happening in store without a VML. Because they will essentially be a VML with no team.

Yeah but everyone else who's not overnight or even 4am got that shock a long time ago and we've been making due. They're just trying to distribute the workload a little bit more evenly. Everyone know low volume stores are hell compared to like A volume and up.
