I agree, 2% is an absolute joke. That's the raise you would get for a really shitty review and it's a slap in the face to those who work hard to get good reviews each year.

But they didn't. The op said they weren't even close to going into overtime. Also, nonsalaried people at Target are paid based upon how many hours they work per week so what you're saying doesn't even make sense to me.

I always thought that we had a total of seven minutes to clock in after the scheduled start of our shift before we're counted as being late.

Probably because the markers are not consistently effective. A lot of the fake twenties and hundreds we've seen around here are made with real five dollar bills, because of that the marker won't indicate that it's fake.
