    ETL rehire?

Agreed. After the time and expense of training someone, they leave after 2 months. I personally would pass on that re-hire....too much of a flight risk.

    HELP!! Remodel team lead offer

    Yes.

I'm worried about my status as an aspiring leader.

If you haven't had conversations or been approached about being a TL already, your store doesn't view you as leadership material.

    Is GSTL role physically strenuous?

Once they're in role, they can seek reasonable accommodations under the ADA. Could also seek accommodations now, but they'd likely get performanced out cause that's what Spot does.

    Covering an ETL?

For over 6 months?? But time and a half during Q4 could be kinda sweet!

    Covering an ETL?

Yeah, the run on sentences confused the heck out of me!

    Resignation

Wait, Colorado had fires too? I mean CA is always on fire, so nothing new there. But Colorado too??

    Moving up

I'm still amazed they could offer you something that acknowledges all that you bring to the table as well as compensate you for working 50 to 70 hours a week. Congratulations 👏

Well, they must have given you a really, really good offer! Good for you 👍

    Moving up

I don't think they can afford you! Or at least adequately compensate you for all of the additional time you will be putting in.

    Moving up

Make sure you factor in time and half for all of those 60-70 hour weeks. There will be many of those weeks since you are likely moving to a store that's struggling. Plus, hours are slim this time of year so you may need to pick up the slack.

Is it better to get hired in as an intern or to get hired in as a team lead?

Absolutely! For the majority of them it's their first post college job/career. Most of the store's TLs will know more and have more work and life experience than a brand new ETL. Quite possible the TLs will have to show the ETL how to do their job as well. And yet the ETL will be earning...

    Promoted to ETL GE

Was in my old store and the GE was working GS, alone. I was shopping for over half an hour so she wasn't just covering a break. Other times she hops on a register to help reduce the calls for back up from the floor. So basically a GE is a well paid Guest Advocate.

Is your store having all TL’s close the store themselves?

Then do a punch correction from the time you start working, not punch in.

    New SETL

There usually isn't too much overlap if there is 2 SETLs.

Archived ETL - AP Interview / Questions

$62,000 really isn't all that much considering the number of hours you'll be working and certainly not an amount to relocate for. Also, there really isn't any upward mobility with this position. If you look at the other threads, there isn't much work-family balance in an ETL position. You may...

Archived Style TL: what is expected of you everyday?

You're on the bench for a TL position? Or expected to learn the TL position without being approved to move into leadership...aka doing the bosses work without the pay

    Starbucks Team Leaders

Typically you file at the end of the week in which you did not work. In my state, there is no waiting period so you are eligible to file the very first week you do not work (or are underemployed).

Well, put in a claim for Unemployment. You're available, so they need to pay you one way or another!
