    Archived Goodbye integrated guest service

The stores in my area are doing away with integrated guest service. My store is putting the guest service desk where photo used to be. Another store is putting guest service where the Target Cafe used to be.

    Archived End of IGS?

My store, and it seems like a few more stores in my group, are getting a remodel in March. One of the aspects of this remodel is that Guest Service is moving back into "the wall," (for lack of a better term) just like how all Targets used to have it. Looks like the new GS will have one...

    Archived Welp. I guess.

I guess after 2 years of target employment (1 with Lifetouch as a Portrait studio employee, 1 at my new store as a IGS tm), and lurking for about six months, I should come out of the shadows. I go by J. (No, not my name, but my username is created on a half coffee and half stoned induced...

    Archived Integrated guest service

Do Target stores always have integrated guest service as a result of remodel of a store that originally didn't have it? Or do some new stores open up with integrated guest service?

Archived New seasonal hire, hopefully hanging around!

Evening! Call me Catfish Rita- I'm a seasonal hire for a Target store in the midwest, and I'm having fun! I love the guests, and so far I'm trained on Hardlines, IGS, and carts. I've been in the chat here a couple times, but thats about it. Talk to you all soon! :-) -CR

    Archived Integrated Guest Service Nightmare

Why did Spot think IGS could possibly be a good idea? Constantly having shoppers come up like its a regular checklane disrupting the GSTM duties, having built up reshop, and just in general the design doesn't look as nice. Ugh I hope when they do remodels they backtrack on the IGS thing.

    Archived IGS

Our store is getting the IGS.... Anyone who has one (esp. the front end people) care to share any info about it? Thanks in Advance!

    Archived IGS Hell

So we are in the midst of our remodel, and they changed the front end first (Integrated Guest Service). I've been dreading it for months, but now it is here. How do you make Guest Service work when a guest is behind somebody with a million things in their cart to just check out? Everyone in...

Archived Thoughts on Integrated Guest Services?

My ancient store is going under remodel next month and our front end is going to be one of the first things that changes (backrooms go first). Our current GS area is going to become a Starbucks (YES!) and we're getting IGS. From what I understand, IGS will be three express lanes, guest...

    Archived Check Lane Endcaps

So my store is a Pfresh remodeling at the mo', we've got Integrated Guest Service (3 lanes) and 10 more regular lanes. What are some of your endcaps that do well up front? Personally whenever we put Smart/Vitamin/Sobe Water we sell soooo much of it. Candy is also good for example in last...

Archived Speculation: Something's changing at the Service Desk

Recently HQ issued new Recall Information signing to all stores. The old signing read something like "For information on product recalls, see the Gift Registry Kiosks at the Guest Service Desk or visit Target.com" The signing that replaced it now reads "For information on product recalls, see...
