What’s up!
First off let me say this forum is great. It’s been great resource for me on my Target journey.
My question is about scheduling, specifically APS scheduling.
I’m currently a TPS (part-time). I just interviewed for APS, and all signs show I’m going to get it.
My dilemma is this: currently my ETL schedules me around days I have my child (which vary) so I don’t need to pay for child care. I’m very grateful for this arrangement, and it’s part of the reason why I’ve been at my store for 1.5 years.
My concern is that if I take the APS job and they can’t or won’t schedule me around days that I have my child, it makes no sense for me to take the APS job because child care would cancel out how much more I make.
So, how flexible are they usually with scheduling? Does it depend on the ETL?
I will bring this up with the ETL, but any insight is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
