Waste of resources to let you guys all be there and ruin the zone. Makeup is a huge $$ maker. We have exclusive brands not found at your local hellmart. So unless you shop online or have an Ulta or hit up the makeup counter at Macy's you are missing out if you don't browse and like trendy makeup. I don't wear much or like it but I can usually push without a PDA as well. You just have to have an eye for detail.

We have the same people push all of HBA with one lady owning makeup. We also have a makeup specialist who is on the instocks team. She ensures that nothing wonky happens to the zone and researches to keep it replenishing as best we can.

I worked at Belk in college and one of the makeup sales humans was pretty good at makeup and a nice looking blonde. Win win :D

Cosmetics is Target's #1 sales department company wide. It's also one of the top shortage departments year after year.

There's a reason Target is pushing so hard to put solid cosmetics brand TM's in place. They super zone the department, which helps with instocks. They provide constant TM presence, which deters theft. And they are available for VIBEing and guest service, which increases VIBE scores over there. I've spent a lot of my time since I started at my store influencing that process and making sure we are on point. YTD our comp is up over 15% and VIBE scores are Green. All the credit goes to our two cosmetics brand TM's though, they rock :)

That looks kinda gross tbh

That was done intentionally. Many drag queens have their make-up done that way to exaggerate femininity. We used to have a drag queen at my store, and a bunch of TMs would go downtown every now and then to see him (or her?) perform at the club.

I'll admit drag isn't really my thing, but the article was an interesting read. And I thought my ex took a long time with her make-up...

As a drag queen friend explained to me unlike trans women they are men unless they are dressed as woman then you refer to them by their drag name.
Of course there are a few drag queens who are transitioning but that's a whole different story.

The reason for my uncertainty as to which pronoun to use was that I could've been referring to either the male person or the female character.

Thank you for educating me.

This is a target beauty concierge. Not mine. I just googled for an image. But that's what they wear. My beauty concierge girl is always on point, but she also doesn't get her foundation from target lol. Idk if it was something mid-upper range or if it was just drugstore that we don't carry (plausible because my store dropped a lot of brown/black girl brands/colors)

I love how this thread turned into a thread about drag queens. Lol. I worked with one at my old job. She was fun. Awesome at catching shoplifters. Where most ladies would shy away from confronting them, she was ready to kick some ass haha.

She also performed at the club downtown. Those shows are entertaining.

Does anyone know anything about Baby Advisers at Target?

I'm in a Baby360 store. Unlike the Beauty Concierges, Baby Advisors are store TMs. Their main focus is guest service in the infants dept, particularly guests who are creating registries.

Awesome! What are their usual hours?
