Archived Can I use some vacation hours for a day I called in?

So I got sick on Monday and had to call in. I have like 52 VAC hours and this week I was scheduled to work 35 hours. I only worked 29, so can I use some of my vacation hours to fill those missing hours?

Of course. Just go into your HR thing and round up to your average hours.

The fact that you called out has no bearing on you doing that.

Yes. You just can't use them to make your total hrs exceed your average.

Seriously? My average is 26.8 and all i wanted is to go from 29 I ended with to 35 I was scheduled, I mean those are my vacation hours. Is there something else I can do about it? C'mon
