I have been at Target for about two months and so far I have only being scheduled in the morning and was scheduled to close all next week by myself for the first time. I asked my TL what I have to do and all she said was zone, but I felt that there was more than just zoning for 7 hours. I was wondering what are some of my other responsibilities and duties? Thanks.
 
ASANTS, but most stores will have a closing routine listed with the responsibilities detailed. Check by the ambient room. Try to fill what you can while you zone. If you notice outdated product while you zone, QMOS it out (or defect it if it’s vendor product that won’t allow you to QMOS). Depending on when your food truck arrives, you may have to unload it. Got broken pushers for product? Note where so it can go on a task list to be fixed.
 
Tbh our closer usually is still working on dry push but it’s slow so he grabs go-backs from guest service and works on backstock that’s piled up from the week
