Fiddelke sent an email this morning to all employees, addressing the situation and calling for de-escalation. Mostly a nothing burger but slightly hinting that he doesn't like the way things are being handled.
He needs to take a stronger position against the tactics that are being employed
What does a grocery and apparel retailer have to do with immigration enforcement? Why do they need to denounce it? Has anyone asked Walmart if they denounced it yet? Should they also denounce the IRS for making me pay back-taxes?
I feel bad for Target for being HQ'd in Minneapolis sometimes. Who would have thought a city in Minnesota of all places would be the epicenter of the most unstable political landscape for the past 10 years.
Truly damned if they do and damned if they dont. And what I really hate is that at the end of the day all it does is hurt the team members who rely on their jobs to make ends meet.
