So I’m an ODTM (on-demand); who wants to pick up a fulfillment shift. For a while, I’ve tried to get trained in fulfillment because majority of the shifts people put up are in that area.
The other day, I was able to train during the end half of my shift and worked with 3 different fulfillment experts.
I watched, learned, and was corrected. But then as I kept going it was pretty smooth sailing.
I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of all the backrooms that I’d need to go, the RFID scanner, and stuff pertaining to picking, bagging, and putting out in drive-up or the boxing area for shipment.
If I feel confident in my abilities and understanding of how to accomplish my tasks, is it okay I only had half a shift worth of training? Or do I need more??
