TL;DR: Can changing a floor count result in a change in the on hand count?

This might be a basic myDay question, I've just never seen this before.

We had heavy snowfall a couple of days ago, and guests have come in looking for sleds. I'm pretty sure we were sold out of the few we had before the snow even came.

While helping a guest yesterday, I scanned the shelf label for one of the sleds, and myDay said three on the floor and eleven on hand.

There was nothing in the location. There was no delivery date. I think it said that the last sale date was in March.

I searched our Toys and Sports vehicles. I asked a TM and a TL who had worked the unload. I looked in bulk storage areas, too. Nothing.

After talking to the guest, I changed the floor count from three to zero.

I was still curious about this later in the day, so I brought the item up again.

Now the on hand was zero.

Could changing the floor count have resulted in a change in the on hand count so soon after?

Maybe I'm mistaken? Maybe I was looking at a different, but similar, sled?

Don't know the answer to your question, but I've noticed some issues lately with SFQs, SFCs, and OHs - the counts just seem off in one way or another.

I might be one of the only TMs at my store who actually checks with my zebra whenever I have overstock to make sure the SFQ and SFC are correct and that no secondary location was added. And I've been noticing lately that sometimes things aren't right. It's definitely not always or even very often, but enough that it makes me think something is glitchy. I do OTC and PC and my numbers are usually pretty accurate.

I've also had trouble changing the SFC recently; when I told a TL about it, they said it might not have had time to update, but it had been a couple hours so they tried and couldn't do it either.

Had a similar situation to the OP's sled question with a toy a guest was looking for. The shelf was empty, the numbers weren't adding up, and it wasn't something on that day's truck. And we were caught up on Toys push. (Fortunately for the guest in my situation, we did have some located in the back and I could pull one.)
