Dollars to donuts those cops were all on the clock.
And this matters why? Do you spend every minute being productive while on the clock for Target.

I can’t think of a single sole out there who did.

Confession - I actually spend probably 1/5 to 1/4 of my day just cruising News Websites and Instagram. There is literately nothing else for me to work on or do, besides wait for a phone call or inquiry to hit my computer.

And the thing is, I would like to believe that I’m one of the most productive and spend my time wisely instead of slacking. But, what do you do when there is zero work to get done?

Same for a cop. What do you do - when there is nothing going on, everything is calm and quiet? I honestly don’t have a problem with it, as long as calls & requests are being handled timely.

These are the wild fires going in Alaska right now.
The dot over Anchorage is about a mile from my house and is 30% contained.
They represent more than a half a million acres.
The temps have broken records for a week.
There is no sign of rain.
And people want to tell me there is no climate change.

You know it's funny, I just read something about Alaska hitting 90* for the first time. I was wanting to actually PM you and ask if that was even remotely normal, or a one-off. Do you guys ever see 75-80* Temps in the summertime, on a regular basis?

Fairbanks in the interior can get up to the 100s in the summer time but they make up for it by going down to -65.
In Anchorage the highest is mid 80s.
We also don't have thunderstorms in Anchorage.
I have seen maybe 4 in my life here.
It used to drive my wife crazy in NJ because I would always go outside to watch the lighting. When you don't see it growing up you, it's all a show.
But prior to all this heat we had six ... in two weeks.

Better this than spending hours issuing tickets to everyone going 5mph over the speed limit on the interstate.

I have been trying to figure out why 45 has been making the tweets about the how the four young congress women should go home to their own countries (when three of them were born here and one came here when she was 12).
Especially the one this morning demanding an apology, because all it seems to be doing is healing the rift in the Democrat party between them and Pelosi.

Could he just be racist and crazy?
Or is it something smarter?
Could it be a smokescreen for the Epstein situation?
No, that is ongoing and a couple of tweets won't cover that up for very long.

It's the safe nation status with Guatemala that is going to be signed today 7/15.
It will means refugees from the Central American triangle (including the ones from Guatemala) will have to ask for refugee status there.
Lets keep in mind Canada is the only other country in the Americas with that status, for a fucking reason.

Guatemala does not have the resources to handle the refugee, is deeply corrupt, and the leader has ties to the cartels.
Forcing people to stay there is a new level of evil on the part of the USA.
It makes sense when there is something that makes America uncomfortable and is illegal, we just outsource it.
I need to go back to bed, I've had a migraine for 5 days and this isn't helping at all

Okay but is it actually illegal though?

Justice Ginsburg: 'I Am Very Much Alive' - https://www.npr.org/2019/07/24/744633713/justice-ginsburg-i-am-very-much-alive?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=npr&utm_medium=social&utm_term=nprnews

"There was a senator, I think it was after my pancreatic cancer, who announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months," she recalled. "That senator, whose name I have forgotten, is now himself dead, and I," she added with a smile, "am very much alive."
Honestly, one of the best quotes I've ever read.

Each of Turning Point's paid workers is supposed to meet a quota to make at least 1,500 student contacts per semester.[15] Student volunteers have several different themes for promoting conservative ideas, including "The Healthcare Games", "Game of Loans", and "iCapitalism".[16]
