What are a few of your favorite things/events your stores HR does for the team?
What do you wish they did differently?

the HR SrTL is just a stooge of the STL. is only out for herself would cut a TM if it helped her out our the company.

now the HR TM is an absolute angel and is the best. and helps any and all that need it

i wish they didn't clean out the fridge every week and throw my lunch away after being in the fridge for only 3 hours !!

My HR at least puts a sign on the fridge door with when exactly they'll clean out the fridge, so you're not surprised.

They kept us fed pretty well over the last few weekends when the store was crazy and a lot of us were working more hours that usual. We're mostly a food-focused team so anything food-related goes over pretty well.

As to cleaning out the fridge, it doesn't get done every week but when it is done, there's a sign posted for a few days ahead of time to let everyone know.

Our HR TM's always put a sign on the fridge a day or two in advance. We had a rash of lunch stealing. One person made a cat food sandwich and left it in the front of the fridge. Lunch stealing stopped. When we had great management there was always stuff on the tables, fruit, chips, p-b & j, donuts, ice cream etc. It was a nice thing to do. What goes on now? No idea.

My store warns people to put stickers on their lunches or they'll get cleaned out daily.

The fridges do not get cleaned out daily, but at least you're warned that if you leave your stuff unlabeled it can be tossed.

We use to play sports (like baseball) with other stores in our area. Some played and some watched. They had a sign up sheet who was going so they could schedule it off. Very fun and bonding. We also do volunteer work together. I wish they would get a 50 cup coffee maker and keep coffee in the break room. We don’t have hot coffee sold at our Target.
