bad employee.
i luve the mug shot

That article is written so badly the reporter should have her journalism degree revoked (if she even has one). It started with this redundancy in the headline: "expensive Apple products." Then went down hill from there. Even if you are just posting a police report, edit it and clean it up first.

Reminds me of high school when you have a minimum word count requirement so you just keep repeating what you just said but word it differently.

Amazon will be just fine. Nice that Target is mentioned as a force to be reckoned with though. I love them both and they both get lots and lots of my money.

Amazon is in nothing near trouble. They run at a deficit/even to avoid taxes and negate income by reinvesting it in new projects. If you're stock minded, keep an eye out for AWS (Amazon Web Services, cloud platforms that run and host pretty much every site now) being spun off into its own company. The next space they're sticking their tentacles in is healthcare/insurance - they're testing it internally on their people before opening it up to the public. Endless money to be made in that.

A couple sites I visit have taken great pains to get away from AWS despite the transition being horribly complicated and making sites buggy and glitchy as they patch everything up. Maybe you could tell me why that is (people leaving AWS)? You seem to know what's going on with them

Could just be she was going to retire anyway and they organized it to happen just after this came out, just in case the news was bad.

She's been working for Target for 31 years according to a news site I found about her initial promotion to Chief Stores Officer. Google searching says she's potentially 52 years old. She's probably got a decent retirement package, plus stock shit and money invested.

Shit, if I could, I'd retire at 52 too. I don't blame her; why stress for an additional 14 years?
