Good news you go team member !!

That shit pisses me off to no end. We had an elderly guest come in to my store a few years ago trying to buy $1000 in iTunes gift cards. After some gentle prodding it turns out he was falling for an IRS scam. My APL, the LOD and myself did everything we could to try to convince him that it was a scam.

In the end he ended up leaving without the cards but not without berating the LOD and telling us he's going to Wal-mart to get them.

My grandmother gets those calls all the time. Despite being 90, we're fortunate that she still has her head screwed on tightly.

I got one at work the other day.
I used a number of swear words in my response, something you really aren't supposed to do at a state agency.
My coworker at the next desk was surprised and when I explained why, said I didn't use enough.

A "grandma" call almost got my mother. Fortunately, my sister was set to take her out that day and showed up early as my mother was walking out the door. It was divine intervention since my sister is always late for everything. For the senior in the quoted post, our town's police chief wouldn't have minded a police officer be called in to talk to the gentleman. There is nothing in hell bad enough for these scammers.

Get your Drive Up order "in minutes". When did Target start having people sitting around just waiting for Karen to place an order?

Looks like we will be busy with price changes the next few weeks to cover these sales.

Poor wording in the article. The stuff makes it to the car within minutes of the Drive Up guest parking. Nothing new.
