On the day of inventory does Receiving accept Ups, FedEx and any other vendors.

up to each store,this year we didn't take vendors but did take ups etc.

Should be pre-counting vendor stuff and shutting down receiving day of inventory.

Best to ask ETLs about vendor deliveries. I will take vendor deliveries. Many of them take it straight to salesfloor with no backstock. Sodas are iffy. What doesn't go out will have to be precounted. Ups you will have to take because of ship to store. If its electronic I just go ahead and check everything in and take to whoever is covering electronics.
