So, who here plays an instrument?

I play guitar, bass guitar, and I'm not so bad on a drum kit.

I have 6 stringed instruments and two killer amps.

Am I the only one here who throws down like that?

No one? Really?

What's this world coming to...

Everyone should at least frig around with some sorta instrument.

It works a part of your brain that won't get touched otherwise.

Plus, you get all the cool chicks!

I play vinyl.
Love music with a passion but can't sing worth a damn and never had a chance to pick up an instrument except some drumming in high school.
I write about music and know a lot about it, wish I played it.

I play the saxophone, but I haven't had many opportunities to dig it out since high school. I also sing in a group at church.

Improvising sexy solos does nothing when I have no game.

I could have swore I posted the instruments I played in here.

I use to own seven guitars, sold all but three. had a drumset, sold it, built my own bass guitar, took it apart and lost all of the screws so it's been sitting dismantled.

Screws are easy enough to come by.

Well, I did take piano lessons as a child.... Seriously, I did take lessons and thought I wanted to be a concert pianist. That was until my mom explained how much I'd have to practice. Given how much I hated practicing, it seems prudent to move on to other things.
Still do love music though and have eclectic tastes - mostly classical and classic rock, but bluegrass, R&B, Celtic, folk, Renaissance, gospel all make their appearances too.

I bought a small harp this year. Still learning to read music but figured out simple tunes on my own. I would like to play non traditional music- Zeppelin, Who. I suspect neither my harp or I have the range but it will be interesting finding out.

It's way easier to be a TL or an ETL.
