I'm new and a couple problems I keep running into are the gift cards where you buy 3 items receive a $5 gift card. I have customers who say they should have earned one or more but I did not receive prompt to scan one. How do resolve? Do I just tell them they don't qualify for it?
 
Sometimes a guest will buy 2 items that qualify and the third one doesn’t. Easiest way is to scan each item in question under the “price inquiry” key. It’s a quick way to know which item is disqualifying the purchase for the gift card because the qualifying items will spell out the promotion when scanned, the item that doesn’t qualify will not state anything.
