Who else has taken the new inbounds unload training? Does your store follow the safety standards? Our unload is done practically the opposite of what it says and our TL doesn't care. I thought it was the best comedy i've seen all year.

Yes . My store does . We started it over 6 months ago when we went from inbound being schedule for doubles for full shift to 4.5 . It can be done .

That one is the one that I do have to break. But it depends if the Pipo is double stacked you have to use the stacker , if the Pipo is anything else I don’t .There is no way to to get the pallets out unless you use the shackler to unstack inside the trailer . The DC needs to get on board with the training and not stack Pipo that you can’t get out of the trailer due to the door.

What does this mean??
Few months ago my inbound team would be schedule for full shifts to do 2 trucks everyday .I was assigned with the task of getting 2 trucks done within 4.5 h while maintaining the unload safety procedures. Where nothing is ever on the docks during unload , no boxes on the ground , no vehicles over 5’4 ,no vehicles staged outside receiving, no vehicles on vendor aisle etc. First week when we started it was tough and we failed the first few days but by the end of the week we nailed down .

Thank you . It took a while and lots of conversation about safety . It wasn’t done in a day or even a week . But we got there . Like I always say we can be full just not dirty . I’ve seen some pictures on here that with a little organization and cleaning up wouldn’t look so bad . But it takes a whole team to understand it .

We did lose dbos and inbound team members when I started back in August, however all the new team mb have been trained on the new process from the moment they started .

Well well so there IS actual training for Inbound.

How? Can't down stack double stacked pipo pallets because crown hits roof of trailer before pallet lifts up.

Depends if you bring it all the way to the second panel you won’t be able too un-stack because of the truck door . But anything further in the truck you should be able to unstack.

Front and Back of the line comparable but man you could fo 360°s with a flat else where! Well done. Fixture room nicer even with ours cleaned up recently..could barely turn around before.
Thanks . It took a while . But I feel like I’m leaving them in a good place since I’ll be moving .
