Im new to target and I was wondering how many hours you guys are getting? they told me 4-30 but I need more than 4 lol whats the average number of hours you all r getting around this time? Michigan store

I can pick up shifts too right?

There is usually a swap shift sheet that you can check to see if there are shifts you can pick up.
The only problem is that often they will be in areas were you aren't trained.

Ask the GSTL if the need extra help and always pick up the phone if they call.

Your hours aren't guaranteed a minimum amount. They vary from week to week. You can always pick up extra shifts from other people. Another way to get more hours is to ask to be cross-trained in other departments. That way, they can schedule you in those departments and you're also able to pick up shifts from TM's that work in those departments as well.
