I applied for On-Demand position, did the interview and received an offer letter for season guest advocate. With a starting date of 10/31. That’s not what I applied for?

I worked at target for 6 years during high school and college. It’s been a few years and I now wanted to apply again for some extra money, and I enjoyed the flexibility of on-demand. But I don’t like how the offer letter is telling me I’m a season guest advocate and is giving me a set date to start? I wanted to pick my shifts because I have a full time job. Should I call HR to clarify or just decline?

I would definitely call HR for clarification. If it's not what you want then decline.
