Store 1, Backroom: If there were 1 dpci with 4 pieces, it would be ticketed under the backroom menu (4 for backroom) and whatever is on the floor would be keyed with 49 followed by dpci.
When you are looking for something on the floor and can't find it at times it would be located in the backroom batch.

Store 2, Backroom: Same scenario, however, 0 would be entered under backroom and 4 would be entered under the sales floor menu. I was told this is better for the pricing report.

I transferred from store 1 to store 2 and each store obviously does pricing differently. Which is correct?

My previous store we did it same as store #2 because it was quicker due to less toggling, less chance to screw up the quantities/tickets printed, no need to activate anything really and drop the scores.

Current store everyone uses mydevice but they do everything under salesfloor and activate everything in backroom. Not sure if that's protocol as it's been a while since I've done pricing.
