Archived Requesting A New Paycard

Title. For anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's the default card they give you if you sign up for direct deposit and you don't want to add or have an existing bank account. It only holds payroll funds. My old one is literally falling apart and the expiration date is in about 2 months anyway. HR says to do it through WorkBench, but all it gives is the option to add an existing account, but not to request a new card.

I would just sign up for a bank account, there are alot of good ones out there. I use usaa so everythi ng is free and whatever isn't is usually reimbursed same day.

I could, but the paycard let's you use your 10% TM discount with it by default

You can also use it with the Target Credit Union debit and credit cards.

This. The TCU is awesome. I'm going to dump my bank in favor of them eventually.

I third the TCU. Free banking, you even earn interest on your checking account balance. TCU has always been good to me. If you don't live near a branch, look up shared branching. I have 3 other credit unions I can go to in my smallish town to make deposits etc.
