50 Walmarts testing these out.

The approximately 2-foot (0.61-meter) robots come with a tower that is fitted with cameras that scan aisles to check stock and identify missing and misplaced items, incorrect prices and mislabeling. The robots pass that data to store employees, who then stock the shelves and fix errors.

Would be great to get these.

Don’t need robots for that. Just do as Aldi. Make a 25c deposit. Get your quarter back when you return the cart.

Seriously not a stray cart in the whole parking lot!

That was actually pretty smart of Aldi. No need to pay for a Bagger and rarely carts in the lot.

I heard kmart was testing carts, that brought themselves back to the store , from the parking lot....

Any links to what you've heard? I think it's BS.

Can you imagine the actual logistics of doing that???

Waiting for the first one to mow down a guest or a guest argue about something being out when the online count says its instock.
