I recently quit my job at my local target as a HL TM without leaving a two week notice. I was there for about a year and was a good TM. I kinda regret quitting and kinda miss target in spite of having better pay now. I know a lot of people at several different stores around my area and was wondering if it was even possible to be re-hired with strong recommendations/references. Even if I was blacklisted or listed as non hireable can I still be hired if I knew someone? I also had a good connection with my previous HR team. Would they be able to rehire me if it was their call? Just curious. I don't know if I'd return to my old store specifically but I woild definitely consider applying for some positions. I had a team lead who had previously left without notice and then was re-hired after regardless due to having someone who knew her hire her. Does time change anything? If i apply five years after the incident would they be able to even consider it?

My understanding is if your listed as unhirable due to attendance, not finishing your 2 weeks, or theft; even the HRBP won't listen to your case.

There are always exceptions to the rule. But my question is why would you want to come back? Target is a much worse place to work then it was a year ago.
I want to do asset protection. Then maybe even get promoted to an undercover specialist. I took the company for granted and lost all the networking within it. I would even do LP/AP somewhere just to apply at target again.

Theres always a way
We had a tm have a breakdown and just left before there 2 weeks were up and they were marked unhirable but then a year later there back at the store they originally walked out od

You might have start back at square 1. Spot will notice the no notice to quit part. You made that decision alone. We can’t help you further, because you are at your former store mercy.

I don't think anyone, who quits a job without notice, is the type of responsible person a company would hire for any AP position.

With a lot of luck, you might get an entry-level GM position with minimal hours.

Sorry, Hoss. Next time, think before act.
