I don't care how flat you make a pancake, it still tastes delicious with boysenberry syrup!

I like that -- I'll use it some time --

One of my favorites --

"Opinions are like ass-holes --- everybody has one - but - a toilet can only hold one at a time" -- I have no idea what that means ----

Reminds me of my HS physics teacher's saying. "Why are excuses like buttholes? Because they both stink!"

I'm sorry but there's not enough money in my store to be worth losing my job and facing criminal charges over.

I'd need at least 7 figures to do that.

Losing my job? Meh. I'd lose the job but get my soul back.

Facing criminal charges? That would freak me out. At around $180 an hour for a DECENT attorney let alone a good one, you are going to be bankrupt very soon no matter how wealthy you are.

^^^ facing criminals charges is no big deal. What I have found works for me, is to have a public defender assigned to you to do the majority of your case work and arraignments/premilinary hearings. Then, you fire said attorney (which is a great reason for a continuance fyi) and then hire a private attorney, which will save you thousands in billable hours.

...That sounds a lot like experience talking :p

I have only seen guests taken into custody. Then I seen a few TMs being just escorted out of the building by AP. Seen plenty of TMs fired over discount abuse, and stealing merchandise & money.

But some of the funniest stories for people were let go during my time were
- Had a FATL for only a month during the Holiday Rush and whose wife was apparently just had a baby. Only to find out he was let go for stealing food.
- An ETL (late 30s) was caught having relations with a TM (18years) in his office
- Another ETL called in a to say he was in the hospital when he didn't show up to let flow into the building. And only to be found out he was lying. They fired him and he refused to give back his keys until he got his last paycheck.

We had an ELT once at store that took money from the cash office. Not sure what ever happened to him. He seemed to have problems after returning from Iraq and think this had something to do with what he did. Also at the same time we lost our STL, as shared something with an ETL that should not have. Only know, as wife called the store a few month after him leaving and told another TL about it.
