Copy of the hashtag #TodaysKidsWillNeverKnow. Post stuff today's TMs will never know about what things Target used to do.
#TodaysTMsWillNeverKnow coming in at 4am (or earlier) to scan in the ad on Sunday's.

Classic PDAs.
We had an influx of new TMs around the time my store almost completely switched to the MyDevice system. A new TM was given a PDA that was reserved for fitting room because half of our MyDevices took steamy shits that night. You wouldn't believe how many times he asked me to help him with the functions.

#TodayTMsWillNeverKnow
Spring picnics for TMs & their families
Post-Christmas parties at a good restaurant paid for by the store
Month-long extra 10% off store brands for TMs (one month would be food, another month clothes, etc)
Having a cardboard fight in the parking lot after closing without being chased off by the ETLs (who frequently joined in)

Doing instocks with a PDA, from making substitutions to scanning softlines. Today's TMs don't know how easy they have it.
I was taught instocks right before we switched away from the sub pads. Good times.

#TodayTMsWillNeverKnow keying/scanning the ad down on Saturday nights :D

#TodayTMsWillNeverKnow staying 4-5 hours after close to zone during 4th quarter

OH MY GOD DO NOT.

JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS THE WORST.

AND IT WAS ALWAYS "ZONE CHEMICALS" LIKE EXCUSE ME THIS IS NOT A PRIORITY AREA

So you got to do instocks while they were transitioning so you got to carry around a printer, my device, PDA and walkie, good times being an equipment hog.
No myDevice. We hadn't got them yet.

I always hating setting up rain checks because I had to find an item to substitute.

We were never allowed to do that because it jacked up the PCV on Sunday mornings. We had to actually scan every sign for hardlines that we could find, and softlines had to key all their signs.

I actually liked scanning the signs during ad takedown. Don't judge.

That RED CARDS weren't the priority.....helping the guest was the priority!

Once upon a time.......stores were actually staffed with enough TMs to get all (or certainly most of) the work done.

That the jewelry department actually sold and changed batteries......and adjusted watchband size...and put new watchbands on the watches.....and had a "Specialist" to help keep the area zoned and relatively clean.

How awesome Seasonal was before P-fresh and market dominated practically the entire back portion of the stores #TodaysTMsWillNeverKnow

Plastic sign holders for 3x5 ad signs

TLs that only have 1 - 2 departments - like Sporting Goods/Luggage

"NOP" - : pours one out:

TPCs that start on Tuesdays

Having Brand Tm's all.the.time

The joy of setting the Jewelry boat and finding all the correct fixtures.

The joy of researching wallets/purses/accessories.
