This is actually kind of a positive spin on a negative story. Walmart is disliked by law enforcement because they know that Walmart (with a serious problem in shoplifting and general disturbances) has cut their costs in the loss prevention department. Walmart knows they can call police and do so often, abusing the relationship. Crime is a much more serious problem within that company, but the resources are not being scaled...

Not where my mother works(Walmart). I was making CSM money as a cashier(Target).

Not in my region. Target is 2 dollars higher than wal Marts base. 12 versus 14

Walmart pays more in my area. Walmart started paying $10 an hour well before Target upped its min wage.

Walmart pays more in my area as well. A former GSA I worked with like 3 years ago now works for Wally as a CSM, and she makes about $2/hour more than she did as GSA. Also, CSMs at Walmart are actual managers. At Target you're just a glorified associate doing a manager's job.
