Back in July 2025, I ncns target, not in the intentions of being rude or anything, I genuinely liked working there but as a 16 year old, school coming up and my mental health being terrible, I didn't think any of it through. It was my first job and i've realized that I really enjoyed working at target and would do anything to go back even if it's not the same location i'm used to. I've reflected on the situation and I take accountability of how I left and I understand I should've did better but I had a lot going on in my life and target just wasn't one of my priorities anymore. Im now 17, im doing online school again and I got a video interview at a different location. I just need guidance on how to go about the situation and how I can make my chances of getting hired higher.

Honestly you're probably not going to get in. Hours are very restricted right now (early spring) for most Team Members, so they're hiring less and trying to give established TMs what hours they can. Keep your availability as open as possible, and maybe they can squeeze you in somewhere, if they really like your interview. Your Hours are likely to be very low, not even close to 40/wk

Thankfully my hours have picked up. I got 39 hours on the newest schedule.

1. Depends on how you were marked when you left. Rehireable or not.
2. Wait closer to Easter / Memorial Day time to re-apply.
