Target does not have their own fleet of trucks. They have their own trailers and pay a carrier (usually hogan or swift) to deliver them to stores.

It only happens if a POG was set but the items in the set are still sitting in the backroom waiting to be pulled. Whoever was supposed to pull the POG batch never did, so the system sees an entire section/aisle empty and attempts to pull it in the CAFs.

My LOD was kicking people out of the store @ 11 pm. If you weren't at the checklanes, get the hell out. It was nice.

I had to work the backroom on a sore knee yesterday. Even with the STL's help, I didn't complete the 3 PM CAFS until 7 pm. I'm sure I'll hear about it again from my TL when the CAF timeliness metric gets dinged on Mon/Tues but I told her the day before that I should be put on light duty...

The schedule for Thanksgiving and Black Friday comes out this week so we should hopefully know by Tuesday.

Pfresh/the coolers seem to be in lot better shape with the grocery team but dry market is doing terrible. They never worked out the morning autofill, and there was still a few uboats of freight left over.

Our inventory was complete hell earlier this year. The company had something like 12 call outs and they didn't finish inventory until 10 or 11 am the following day. Flow had to do push all on the truck as a result and made our backroom a complete mess.

My store has those movable aisles. They are the bane of my existence.

Ship from store rolls out to my store next week I think. We're going to have an order cap of 25 for the first month, then it goes to 50, then 150 for a week, followed by 300 for black Friday. I was told backroom is going to mostly be responsible for SFS while our cap is low. More...

This week I have 38.5 hours (thanks RFID and plano!), following 2 weeks only 28.5.

After you put the item into a hold location, you now have to tap no more items, followed by close recipt. I did notice the app doesn't take forever to load an order anymore though.

New PDA update went out. Some changes I noticed: Print barcodes/bcode is back. Processing ship to store orders is a bit more involved with more screens added. I noticed the PDA was constantly trying to load on the all apps screen and I had to soft reboot the PDA a few times to get it to work...

I find it amusing that nearly all the leaders at my store ignore/avoid the backroom but as soon as I announced the 3's were 3:40 I was surrounded by every leader in the building helping pull the batches. Where are you guys when this place is drowning in backstock?
