Ok, this is actually kind of hilarious.

Resources for Humans (An HR Thread)

The best part about being an ETL HR was that it gave me the skills and experience to get an HR job elsewhere..... LOL, mostly kidding. I loved HR and liked Target. If I didn’t have to be LOD or hadn’t her to relocate to be an HRBP, I’d still be at Target. :)

    Archived Missing money bundle

And I also don't see why it should be a final for you...coaching, maybe...but final? You did get the money to the LOD to secure, they chose not to secure. It's not like you left all of the big bills in a register or something. But I could be wrong, and even though CCA policy is "Black and white"...

    Archived Missing money bundle

Man, your LOD is insane. Should have just opened the stupid C/O back up, called the Alarm Center to explain why, and gone on with her life...

    Archived Stores Closing

I love how the "sign up for a redcard" propaganda is still there. Some things never change.

    Archived Hypothetical

Like others have said, instocks.... But with a caveat. Instocks shifts are generally 8-12, so after 12 they're headed to the Backroom.

I've got a feeling one of the RVPs will drop soon too.

Archived New ETL going through Business College

They always tell our new ETLs to work 47.5 hours in my district during training. Obviously YMMV

    Archived Goodbye Dollar Spot!

In Halloween and summertime sets this year, we've seen some stuff be backstocked under the BUCK fillgroup and actually be set in mini/seasonal. I wouldn't be shocked if it were true and a seasonal EC or 8-12' in the aisle became the new dollar spot and we stopped having the cheap electronics and...

Archived What's Their Scam: Part 2

I've called GR in the past to say that I'm an LOD and they're about to have a call that is a fraud situation while my SDTM stalls about getting a phone for the guest and warned them they were about to have a scam call. The person on the other end then did tell the guest they couldn't be helped...

    Archived VM TL

Seems to me like the direction is that SLs is going to become less plannogramed/guided (ex., how adj. now only have the first two rows listed at all.) As a result, enter a position for merchandising.

    Archived VM TL

My understanding was still every store is getting it - maybe your HR has lagged in posting it. Are there any other stores in your market you could check?

    Archived VM TL

I think I understood it as accepting internal apps, but the ideal candidate has a good amount of experiments merchandising and making their own product decisions. Think places like Anthropologie, maybe a J Crew or something. Most internals probably don't have tons of experience at the level it...

    I'm Lost! The REDCard Thread

We literally had 0 Cards when I left today at a AA+ store. Just depressing. We only have 4 all week....we've only missed our goal 1 time so far this year. I hate that I feel like crap for something that can be so hard to control. I hate feeling obligated to put pressure on my team to get so...

    Archived New toy "reinvention"

Obviously ASANTS and I have a new STL since this time last year, but... I save my old "Weekly Dashboards" for payroll. Same week last year, I had 225 SLs hours and this year I have 317. As far as remodels go, I think E&E's last wave is supposed to be March of next year. Home furnishings is very...

    Archived New toy "reinvention"

Next time you're at work, poke around on Workbench and check out the reinvention for toys. Similar to the Baby 360 remodeling.. I'm a fan. Shorter gondolas and "cut throughs" in the valleys. Lots of dividing by brand and displays to interact with. If this, the E&E and home reinventions and...
