and even that if the store is consistent they're happy to do it. the only challenge is if you get fired and you win unemployment. as to op.. i'm a stickler and submitted a lot of punch corrections in my time with the blessings of multiple stl's. one even went to bat with me with hr who wanted...

i've left gstl, but last i read on best practice, cartwheel is like a price adjustment. 2 weeks, as long as the offer is still valid you can do it.

    Archived Coupon Fraud Issues

its really rare. i've had many many coupon returners and only one family the system prompted the gift card. the best way to stop coupon returns is to make it as painful as possible. only allow major coupon purchases at a checklane with a gstl/gsa. being as annoying as possible most stopped...

Archived TL Rules for Outside work relations?

basics are you never want to get put in the position you got favors for being a friend. more hours/better shifts cause they like you. or ap, they don't investigate you/look into your flags. if you're not in that position its a grey area. target will prefer you don't but won't prohibit it.

    Archived Hours v. REDCard Correlation

i have the other side. we have long lines, and people want to get through transactions quicker. they ask if they're using a redcard, but don't really go in depth with it. and with one lane open no one really wants to open a red card and have the line take 4-8 minutes. let alone the guests, its...

    Archived Food TL position

the point is that many stores have health code violations. it had multiple tl's and etl's covering it. 2 people is a lot easier for a responsibility stand point. plus its cheaper having one tl do the work of 3 in some cases.

    fired at target

usually yes. basically we need to prove in court you signed that your final issue was bad. it was continued that we had to document it. then it occurred again so that was why you were let go.

Archived Was getting rid of the cashier score a mistake?

at least at my store no one had an issue with 90 g. the only ones who did were older that we weren't going to fire. long lines are more lack of hours. when i was a cashier we had plenty of extra who were just looking for things to do to stay busy. zone bullseye, learn other areas of the store...
